Andy Cohen<\/a> is sharing how his new boyfriend is fitting into the family.<\/p>\nOn Monday, June 8, the Watch What Happens Live<\/em> host, 58, confirmed his relationship with boyfriend Kevin Sobieski<\/a> on Radio Andy<\/em><\/a>, and<\/em> shared how he approached introducing him to his two children, daughter Lucy, 4, and son Benjamin, 7.<\/a> Cohen revealed that he and his boyfriend were very “slow and deliberate” with how they integrated Sobieski into his and his kid’s lives.<\/p>\n“This man is kind and strong and smart, and he\u2019s an adult and he loves my children, and they love him and I love him,” Cohen said. “And we have been so slow, and deliberate and methodical about getting to know each other and introducing him into the kids and just entering him into the equation of my family so slowly, and I have to say it has been so easy.”<\/p>\n\n<\/div>\nAndy Cohen and his kids

Cohen welcomed his first child, son Benjamin<\/a>, in February 2019. Three years later, the Bravo host added his second child, daughter Lucy, to the family in April 2022.<\/p>\n“Family means everything to me<\/a> and having one of my own is something that I have wanted in my heart for my entire life,” Cohen said on Watch What Happens Live<\/em> in December 2018, shortly before his son’s birth. “Though it’s taken me longer than most to get there, I cannot wait for what I envision will be the most rewarding chapter yet.”<\/p>\nCohen, who was 50 when his son Ben was born, also said that he’d “never thought it would be possible<\/a>” for him to have a family.<\/p>\n“When I was growing up … I just never thought it would be possible as a gay man to grow up and have a family,” he continued. “I’m so grateful to a wonderful surrogate that I’m working with.”<\/p>\n
While on the Wednesday, Oct. 29 episode of Call Her Daddy<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>Cohen shared that he has a “really good life,” as he reflected on being a dad of two. He said that his children “wound up saving my life.”<\/p>\n“I’ve been single far longer than I’ve been with people. But I like being single and I like…I have a really good life,” he said to host Alex Cooper.<\/a> “So, I haven’t been like, ‘Oh, I’m so lonely.’ And then my kids wound up saving my life.”<\/p>\n“Having kids later in life was like the greatest thing I’ve ever done,” he added. “I have a family.
