A global pop sensation and Broadway star have quietly split after three years of dating, according to multiple reports.<\/p>\n
Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater have been broken up for several months, as reported by TMZ<\/a>, PEOPLE<\/a> and Page Six<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cAriana and Ethan broke up several months ago but they\u2019ve remained friends since then and have nothing but respect and admiration for one another,\u201d a source told Page Six Monday.<\/p>\n \u201cThis wasn\u2019t a decision they took lightly but realized they were better off friends than in a committed relationship,\u201d the source added. \u201cAriana is feeling really happy and focused on the next chapter with her \u2018Eternal Sunshine\u2019 tour and the upcoming release of her album \u2018Petal.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Grande and Slater, both 34, first met while working on the set of \u201cWicked\u201d in July 2023. The couple went public with their relationship in November 2024 after Grande separated from her then-husband, Dalton Gomez. Around the same time, Slater separated from his wife, Lilly Jay.<\/p>\n In June 2023, Jay blasted Grande to Page Six<\/a> after news of his budding romance with the singer broke.<\/p>\n \u201c[Ariana\u2019s] the story, really.
