The first time I heard something was happening was when the police showed up,” Gledhill told the Daily Mail<\/em> on Monday of the events of June 3.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n Handy died at the hospital from a stab wound to his chest, allegedly at the hands of Wendy’s adult son, Michael Gledhill.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n James Handy’s girlfriend is sharing more details about the actor’s final moments before his fatal stabbing<\/a>, allegedly at the hands of her 44-year-old son<\/a>.<\/p>\n Wendy Gledhill opened up about the morning of June 3 in a conversation with the Daily Mail<\/em><\/a> from the front door of the couple’s three-bedroom home in Tarzana, Calif. on Monday, revealing that the morning had been like any other before things took a tragic turn.<\/p>\n “James had gotten up to get the newspaper at about 9 o’clock, but he didn’t make the coffee like he usually does,” Gledhill told the outlet, explaining that Handy usually woke up and headed to the front porch to grab the newspaper, which he read with a cup of coffee. “I just heard the door open because he was getting the paper.”<\/p>\n Gledhill claimed that she remained in bed because she didn’t think there was anything out of the ordinary.<\/p>\n
