Richard Gere<\/strong><\/a> revealed he\u2019s been watching Euphoria<\/em><\/a> \u2014 but hasn\u2019t yet caught up to the penultimate episode in which his son, Homer Gere,<\/strong> has a NSFW scene with Sydney Sweeney<\/strong><\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI still need to see his second episode,\u201d Richard, 76, revealed to People<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday, June 9, days after the season 3 finale aired.<\/p>\n

In the episode 7 scene, Sweeney\u2019s character, Cassie Howard, had sex with Homer\u2019s Dylan Reid<\/a>, an up-and-coming TV star, as part of a plan to regain her social media followers after she deleted her OnlyFans account.<\/p>\n

Richard said that after his son\u2019s appearance on Sam Levinson\u2019s hit show, \u201c[Homer] has this big thing coming up with Ryan Murphy<\/strong>, and he just finished shooting a film with Oliver Stone<\/strong>.\u201d The Pretty Woman<\/em> star joked, \u201cSo I can retire now. I\u2019m passing the torch.\u201d (Richard shares Homer, 26, with ex-wife Carey Lowell<\/strong>.)<\/p>\n

Homer James Jigme Gere, 24, joined his father on the red carpet for the premiere of his father\u2019s new film Oh, Canada, on Friday, May 17. While Gere and Homer looked dashing in matching [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

As for Homer following in his acting footsteps, Richard couldn\u2019t be more \u201cproud of him.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cOne, he\u2019s really good. He really kind of preternaturally knows what he\u2019s doing. But he\u2019s also handling it really well,\u201d Richard gushed. \u201cHe\u2019s a good kid. He\u2019s a really good young man who kind of gets it, and this is not an easy job. Not everyone can function within it. So I think he can stay.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richard admitted he\u2019s not sure if Homer sees himself as a lifetime actor or if it\u2019s just a temporary hobby he\u2019s exploring.<\/p>\n

\u201cI don\u2019t think he\u2019s got to make a life choice to commit to this if he\u2019s doing this now,\u201d Richard said. \u201cHe\u2019s good at it and he\u2019s having fun, but he can become a rock climber if he wants to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n
