Rich Paul represents some of the biggest names in sports, but it\u2019s how he landed a relationship with one of the biggest names in music that he\u2019s talking about now.<\/p>\n
The Klutch Sports Group founder, agent and entrepreneur opened up about meeting\u00a0longtime partner Adele\u00a0<\/a>on the June 9 episode of Craig Melvin\u2019s \u201cGlass Half Full\u201d podcast.<\/p>\n \u201cHow did you meet Adele?\u201d Craig asked.<\/p>\n \u201cThrough a friend. I had known her for some time,\u201d Paul said. \u201cYou know, just when you\u2019re in these circles, man, you\u2019re in these circles. But I never tried to get fresh with people that\u2019s in comfortable circles because they always have to deal with that, so that was never my thing. It was really something that happened very organically, really.\u201d<\/p>\n Paul, who represents stars like LeBron James, Anthony Davis, A\u2019ja Wilson and Tyrese Maxey, said he wasn\u2019t too familiar with her music before they met.<\/p>\n \u201cObviously, you can\u2019t help but to hear the monster hits,\u201d he said when asked if he had previously listed to Adele\u2019s music. \u201cBut, no, not exactly. But obviously, you know, I\u2019m pretty on the pulse of a lot of different things, and so, you know, some of the songs, the big songs, but I didn\u2019t know all of the joints that I know now.\u201d<\/p>\n Pressed for more details on the origins of their relationship, Paul said they continued to run into each other.<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re all in the same circles, and, you know, we\u2019re hanging or whatnot,\u201d he said. \u201cWe just used to always see each other, laugh and joke. It was just cordial, really, just cordial.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cUntil?\u201d Craig said.<\/p>\n \u201cUntil it became not so cordial. Until I became a person of interest,\u201d he joked, prompting Craig to laugh.<\/p>\n \u201cA suspect,\u201d quipped Craig.<\/p>\n Paul also may be with one of the world\u2019s biggest pop stars, but he said he doesn\u2019t shy away from showing off his pipes.<\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m the best singer in the house,\u201d he joked.<\/p>\n Adele and Paul\u00a0started dating in 2021<\/a>\u00a0and have kept their relationship relatively private.
