Ninth St., Little Rock, continues the band\u2019s America250 celebration with a program of marches, patriotic songs, and pop tunes.<\/p>\n<p>The concert kicks off with the Presentation of Colors by the Little Rock Air Force Base Honor Guard; the Pledge of Allegiance led by Col. Kent Stone, United States Marine Corps (retired); and the national anthem.<\/p>\n<p>The program will recognize veterans and active members of the military with the service songs of all the U.S. Armed Forces. Israel Getzov conducts.<\/p>\n<p>Blue Bell Creameries will provide free ice cream and Woodmen Life will provide free hand-held flags. Central Arkansas Water will supply free ice water for filling water bottles.<\/p>\n<p>There will be a silent auction of the conductor\u2019s baton \u2014 the opportunity to conduct the band\u2019s performance of Leroy Anderson\u2019s \u201cSleigh Ride\u201d during the Little Rock Winds\u2019 Dec. 10 Christmas concert.<\/p>\n<p>Provide your own lawn chairs and picnic baskets. In case of rain, the concert will move to the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Theater.<\/p>\n<p>Sponsors are Stone Bank, the MacArthur Museum and Little Rock Parks and Recreation. It\u2019s onstage, 7 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday through June 21 at the Royal Theatre, 111 S. Market St., Benton.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $20; $15 for senior citizens age 60-plus, college students and members of the military; $10 children through 12th grade, free for \u201clap children\u201d up to age 3, plus additional fees. Laman Public Library, 2801 Orange St., North Little Rock.<\/p>\n<p>Titled \u201cFrom the Cradle to the Grave,\u201d the two-day workshop features guest speakers, presentations and interactive sessions on family history research and cemetery preservation.<\/p>\n<p>Tamela Tenpenny-Lewis will give a presentation on the history and legacy of the Odd Fellows Cemetery; a session from PAAC Junior will introduce youngsters to ways to get involved in cemetery preservation projects.<\/p>\n<p>The weekend also marks the grand opening of a permanent poster exhibit dedicated to the history of Odd Fellows Cemetery and North Little Rock\u2019s Military Heights neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>Support for the project and exhibit comes from a Curtis H.
