He hails from Copenhagen, whence so much of the world&#8217;s best experimental pop music currently emanates. After debuting for his new label with &#8220;Adrenaline&#8221; in the spring, he&#8217;s back today with another track and details of his new album.<\/p>\n<p><em>Herzsprung<\/em> is out in August. Berntsen funded it with his paycheck from appearing in <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=rLtFIrqhfng\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">a Jaguar ad<\/a> two years ago. The material finds him employing a sophisticated guitar-pop approach, a bit like Westerman if he was working with Jim O&#8217;Rourke or Cate Le Bon.
