The director and longtime Knicks fan, in a recent interview<\/a> with Andscape\u2019s Bill C. Rhoden, described the city as \u201cgoing to be bananas\u201d and \u201ccraziness,\u201d whether the team wins at home or on the road against the San Antonio Spurs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier this year, he signed his name onto a Change.org petition<\/a> that called for the \u201cimmediate closure\u201d of the notorious<\/a> Dilley Immigration Processing Center, the largest family detention center in the United States.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

In his interview with Rhoden, which dropped a day before the Knicks\u2019 Game 3 loss, Lee declared that New York was \u201cgoing to\u201d win its first championship in over half a century despite the NBA Finals being far from over.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
