David Harbour<\/a><\/strong> has finally reacted to his ex-wife Lily Allen<\/a>\u2019<\/strong>s allegations of infidelity, which she referenced in her\u00a02025 studio album, West End Girl. The Stranger Things actor said, \u201cI do believe that it is the privilege of every artist to use their experience to create art, and so I respect her for doing that.\u201d<\/p>\n Speaking to Variety<\/a> in a cover story published on June 10, Harbour opened up about the claims, stating, \u201cIt was weird.\u201d<\/p>\n The 51-year-old actor, who separated from the singer in early 2025 after the couple married in 2020, said, \u201cI can\u2019t really say that much more because it\u2019s my private life. In spite of the fact that a lot of people don\u2019t allow me a private life \u2014 I value it. And I also value the lives of the people that I interact with privately. I just won\u2019t speak about that.\u201d Adding, \u201cStories are complex, and that\u2019s why I say I respect her creation of art to channel her experience. It wasn\u2019t my experience.\u201d<\/p>\n According to the BBC<\/a>, West End Girl marks Allen\u2019s first album in seven years, after 2018\u2019s No Shame. The 14-track album appears to tell the story of their troubled marriage. \u201cIt\u2019s very much an album about the complexities of relationships and how people navigate them. It\u2019s a story,\u201d she said previously, as per NME<\/a>, adding that it is \u201ca mixture of fact and fiction.\u201d<\/p>\n However, in Interview<\/a>\u00a0magazine, the singer denied that the album was intended as an act of revenge. She said, \u201cI mean, I wrote this record in 10 days in December and I feel very differently about the whole situation now. We all go through breakups, and it\u2019s always fucking brutal.
