One of rock’s most acclaimed drummers is headed on tour.<\/p>\n
Roger Taylor<\/strong>, legendary drummer and founding member of Queen<\/a><\/strong>, just announced a brand-new album and accompanying tour, marking his first time touring solo in the UK in years.<\/p>\n The exciting announcement was posted to Instagram<\/a> on Wednesday<\/a>, June 10, where Taylor unveiled the title of his upcoming new album: Violence Insane In A Beautiful World. The record is slated to drop on Friday<\/a>, Sept. 18, with Taylor’s tour starting up just days later.<\/p>\n Advertised as Taylor’s “only UK dates in 2026,” the tour is expected to make stops in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Manchester, London and Swansea. It’s the musician’s first time touring solo since October<\/a> 2021, following the release of his sixth solo album, Outsider, that same month.<\/p>\n \ud83c\udfacSIGN UP for Parade’s Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox<\/strong><\/a>\ud83c\udfac<\/p>\n Taylor’s upcoming album, Violence Insane In A Beautiful World, will feature 10 tracks total, including nine original tracks written by Taylor, plus a cover of John Lennon<\/a><\/strong>‘s “Jealous Guy.” <\/p>\n “There is a theme, you know\u2014it’s in the title really,” Taylor said about the message behind his new record. “What a beautiful world we live in; don’t f*ck it up.”<\/p>\n One of the tracks on the album, “Come On Summer (It’s Party Time),” featuring the Ndlovu Youth Choir, is already out now. Taylor also already dropped<\/a> the audio from another song on the album, titled “Chump<\/a>,” though the song has yet to be officially released on streaming platforms.<\/p>\n General ticket sales<\/a> for Taylor’s upcoming tour will go on sale on Wednesday, June 17. The exclusive presale begins on Monday, June 15, with presale codes going out via text the night before.
