PC: Cirque du Soleil \u02bbAuana<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">BMG and Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group announced the release of \u201cKele ka Moana,\u201d a new single from\u00a0\u02bbAuana, Cirque du Soleil\u2019s first resident show in Hawai\u02bbi and the first in the company\u2019s 42-year history to be developed around a single place and its language.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Now streaming ahead of the full soundtrack release next month, and written entirely in \u02bb\u014clelo Hawai\u02bbi, the Hawaiian language, \u201cKele ka Moana\u201d reflects the production\u2019s deep connection to the stories, traditions and cultural landscape of Hawai\u02bbi. <\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The music of\u00a0\u02bbAuana\u00a0was developed in close collaboration with Native Hawaiian linguist Dr. Keao NeSmith, with composer Evan Duffy shaping the compositions to enhance the show\u2019s storytelling and blend Cirque du Soleil\u2019s signature acrobatics and theatricality with the musical spirit of Hawai\u02bbi.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/media.mauinow.com\/file\/mauinow\/2026\/06\/image007-1024x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-528524\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Listen to \u201cKele ka Moana\u201d now\u00a0<a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/tracking.us.nylas.com\/l\/2727a58c62a94dae8b2f8773af5d09cf\/1\/b7705c646f88d42609c1e27f3cc83dbd0f54dd7d340c7ce1bde2c259ced2e5bc?cache_buster=1781131512\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HERE<\/a><strong>.<\/strong>  The track brings the music and storytelling of Cirque du Soleil\u2019s first resident show in Hawai\u02bbi beyond the stage. PC: Cirque du Soleil \u02bbAuana<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWhen approached with the opportunity to compose the music for \u2018Auana, I knew that it had to be created to carry the spirit, language and stories of Hawai\u2018i, on and off the stage,\u201d said Evan Duffy. \u201cThe sound of \u2018Auana\u00a0wouldn\u2019t be possible without the incredible team involved in every stop of the process, from the show\u2019s cultural creative team to the musicians, vocalists and studio collaborators who helped bring the music to life.
