The all-star cast captured the chaos of high-school life and early romance, popularising ’90s slang along the way.<\/p>\n

Stacey Dash played the straight-talking best friend we all wanted. Dionne Davenport sported plenty of iconic headwear, knew how to rock a check print just as well as Cher and had one of Clueless’\u00a0favourite love stories with boyfriend Murray. Just don’t ever, ever, call her ‘woman’!<\/p>\n
Following her star role in Clueless,\u00a0Stacey reprised her role for the TV series adaptation of the same name, worked on 2003’s View from the Top\u00a0and 2007’s I Could Never Be Your Woman. Recently, she’s been cast in 2025 thriller The Doctor with Two Faces\u00a0and 2024 drama Four.<\/p>\n

Brittany Murphy’s Tai is everything sweet, though her style runs more slacker than designer cool. Dionne and Cher decide to makeover their new friend, but soon Cher’s new-found ‘project’ back fires when Brittany surpasses her popularity and starts falling for Paul Rudd’s Josh.<\/p>\n
Brittany went on to voice act for King of the Hill\u00a0between 1997-2010. She also appeared on screen in Girl, Interrupted\u00a0(1999), Drop Dead Gorgeous\u00a0(1999) and voiced Gloria in Happy Feet\u00a0(2006). As if!<\/p>\n Alicia Silverstone heads up the Clueless\u00a0cast as Cher Horowitz, the glamorous ’90s variation on Jane Austen’s Emma Woodhouse. She might seem like she’s all about the shopping, but Cher proves herself to be a loyal, determined and responsible friend and daughter throughout the film. And, of course, gets the guy.<\/p>\n Since leaving the halls of high-school, Alicia took a break from Hollywood<\/a> but has fortunately returned, taking on heavier roles in psychological thriller Bugonia, drama series Irish Blood\u00a0and erotic thriller Pretty Thing.\u00a0But don’t worry, the actress hasn’t entirely abandoned the rom-com genre, starring in Netflix Christmas feature AMerry Little Ex-Mas\u00a0(2025).<\/p>\n Split image of Donald Faison. But if there’s one thing the man knows how to do, it’s apologise. The couple’s arguments are rarely more than a performance and prove that a high-school romance doesn’t have to be filled with drama \u2013 at least some of the time.<\/p>\n While on screen we’re sure the couple eventually tied the knot, off screen Donald has been busy on Scrubs\u00a0since 2001<\/a>,\u00a0starred in sitcom The Exes\u00a0and was cast as leading man on sitcom Extended Family.<\/p>\n Split image of Paul Rudd. The environmentally conscious and ever-protective leading man knew how to yearn and we’ve loved him ever since.<\/p>\n Of course, Clueless\u00a0wasn’t Paul’s only hit on the big screen. The actor has since starred in Ant-Man, The 40-year-old Virgin, This Is 40\u00a0and Jack Black comedy Anaconda (2025). While Cher, at first, tries to romantically pursue him, she soon figures out they’re meant to be friends and finds a mall-buddy for life in the transfer student.<\/p>\n Following his Clueless\u00a0fame, Justin had a few roles in the late ’90s and early 2000s including Boltneck, Born Bad\u00a0and Perfect Lover\u00a0but has since left acting behind<\/a>. We can’t imagine anyone else bringing the same level of snark and likability to the character, or styling out her vicious comments so well.
