Kenny Loggins<\/a> just reunited with Footloose<\/a> stars Kevin Bacon<\/a> and John Lithgow<\/a> for a surprise performance of the titular song on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/a>.<\/p>\n On the June 9 episode<\/a> of the late-night show, the trio came together with host Jimmy Fallon<\/a> for a \u201cClassroom Instruments\u201d version of \u201cFootloose.\u201d The segment began with Loggins, Fallon, and The Roots playing the medley of \u201cI\u2019m Alright,\u201d \u201cDanger Zone,\u201d and \u201cYour Mama Don\u2019t Dance\u201d on bright colored kid instruments.<\/p>\n That\u2019s when Lithgow, 80 \u2014 who played the stern Reverend Shaw Moore in 1984\u2019s Footloose \u2014 interrupted the jam session. \u201cWait a minute. Everybody listen to me,\u201d he declared. \u201cI object to this kind of music. It\u2019s illegal in this building.\u201d<\/p>\n Loggins, 78, replied, \u201cIllegal?\u201d to which Fallon, 51, insisted, \u201cWe\u2019re just having fun.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cJump back! \u201d Bacon, 67 \u2014 who played Ren McCormack, the teenager from Chicago who fights against the ban on dancing in Bomont \u2014 yelled, as he suddenly popped into the frame with a ukulele. \u201cHey, I thought this was supposed to be a party. Let\u2019s dance!\u201d<\/p>\n The \u201cClassroom Instruments\u201d group then broke into \u201cFootloose\u201d for the rest of the segment.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n In the comments of an Instagram<\/a> post of the clip, fans shared their reactions to the surprise Footloose reunion. One exclaimed, \u201cThis is so much fun!
