And there\u2019s no better evidence of that than this week as FIFA World Cup<\/a> 2026 fever amps up globally \u2014 accompanied by a host of related music projects. One such project is being helmed by Grammy Award-winning songwriter-producer RedOne.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cFollow Me\u201d features French Montana, TWICE\u2019s Jihyo, Ludmilla, Adriana C and the producer himself.<\/p>\n

\n\tAlso appearing in the anthem\u2019s upcoming video is an A-list roster of soccer players. That lineup includes Ronaldo\u00a0R9 (Brazil), Brahim Diaz (Morocco), Federico Valverde (Uruguay) and Denzel Dumefries (The Netherlands). Arriving June 12 via RedOne\u2019s 2101 Records\/Vydia, \u201cFollow Me\u201d is available for pre-save now.<\/a><\/p>\n

\n\tIn addition,\u00a0RedOne cowrote and produced the\u00a02026 World Cup anthem\/national team fight song for the country of Jordan. \u201cAlnashama\u201d \u2014 Arabic for \u201cthe brave ones\u201d \u2014 features artists Yara Mustafa and Husain Al Salman. The song also marks a momentous achievement for Jordan: Its national team is making its first World Cup appearance.<\/p>\n

\n\t\u201cMusic and sports<\/a> are the two most powerful global languages we have,\u201d RedOne tells Billboard<\/em>. \u201cWhen they intersect, you don\u2019t just create a song or a game \u2014 you create a moment that the entire world feels at the same time. \n\tAhead of FIFA World Cup 2026, RedOne released another global project, A.W.A.M. (Allah al-Watan al-Malek)<\/em><\/em>, last December. In underscoring the global sound of African culture and unity, A.W.A.M<\/em> spun off three singles in conjunction with the monthlong Africa Cup of Nations Tournament (December 2025-January 2026). RedOne is featured on all three tracks, which included \u201cAfrica\u201d (Akon, Yemi Alade, French Montana and Innoss\u2019B); \u201cLe Show\u201d (Ayra Starr, Davido and French Montana) and \u201cWe Gonna Dance\u201d (Ne-Yo & Asma Lmnawar).<\/p>\n

\n\tRedOne explains that A.W.A.M<\/em>\u00a0translates from Arabic to \u201cGod, Homeland, King. It\u2019s the national motto of Morocco, commonly used to express patriotism and loyalty to the throne and often seen inscribed on mountainsides and buildings.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\tRedOne \u2014 whose credits include Lady Gaga, Enrique Iglesias and One Direction \u2014 has stationed himself at the burgeoning intersection of music and sports. Among his credits in that arena are FIFA World Cup 2022\u2019s \u201cDreamers\u201d by Jung Kook and the 2025 NBA Finals anthem \u201cThe Days\u201d by Lil Wayne and Bono, plus creating music for the Qatar World Cup.<\/p>\n
