The \u201cBREAKS SILENCE<\/a>\u201d headlines have officially come for David Harbour, who recently kinda sorta said something about ex-wife Lily Allen\u2019s damning album West End Girl. To recap, Allen revealed that at some point during her four-year marriage to Harbour, the two had a complicated open relationship in which some lines got blurry. A recurring character on the album is Madeline, a pseudonym for the woman with whom Harbour may or may not have had a more serious love affair and broken the terms of said complicated non-monogamous agreement. So how did David respond to his ex-wife telling the whole world that he had affairs and was a sex addict? He didn\u2019t until Wednesday; hence, silence = broken.<\/p>\n \u201cIt was weird,\u201d Harbour told Variety, \u201cI do believe that it is the privilege of every artist to use their experience to create art, and so I respect her for doing that.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t really say that much more,\u201d he added, \u201cbecause it\u2019s my private life. In spite of the fact that a lot of people don\u2019t allow me a private life \u2014 I value it. And I also value the lives of the people that I interact with privately. I just won\u2019t speak about that.\u201d The identity of \u201cMadeline\u201d wasn\u2019t a mystery for long. In December, a woman named Natalie Trippet revealed herself<\/a> and shared her side of things, including that she was also upset about the narrative Allen told about her and Harbour\u2019s alleged affair.
