Online<\/a><\/p>\n Michelle Visage<\/strong> could never be green with envy over <\/span>RuPaul<\/strong><\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n In fact, ever since the <\/span>RuPaul\u2019s Drag Race<\/span> judge met the self-described Queen of Drag in the late \u201880s, their best-friendship has only continued to strengthen.<\/span><\/p>\n Of course, fans of the drag competition have had a peek into some of the pair\u2019s antics since Michelle joined the competition series\u2019 judging panel in 2011 for the show\u2019s third season, but she admits that\u2019s only part of the fun they have together.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOh, you don’t get to see a lot,\u201d she told E! News in an exclusive interview. \u201cYou see the craziness and the fun and the laughter that we have together, and that’s there all the time.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n However, the 57-year-old added, \u201cI’m not sure if people really know what big goofy kids we are.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n And it\u2019s the “guttural laughing\u201d at \u201csilly things\u201d that feed the friendship\u2014that, and their mutual love for dancing. <\/span><\/p>\n More from E! Online<\/strong><\/p>\n \u201cIf we’re filming and it’s his dressing room and he has his music on, I go in there and start dancing,\u201d Michelle continued, \u201cand he’ll just get up with half of his face beat [with makeup] and start dancing with me. It’s that childish fun that still lives in our relationship.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n And even when they haven\u2019t seen each other in months, she and Ru carry on like a pair of modern-day squirrel friends. <\/span><\/p>\n Jordin Althaus\/World of Wonder<\/p>\n \u201cEven on our FaceTimes, he\u2019ll pick up and we’re not even talking about anything,\u201d she explained. \u201cWe’re just laughing and carrying on and drinking coffee or tea or whatever. And that’s, I think, what an adult relationship looks like.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Still, Michelle and Ru\u2019s special bond doesn\u2019t exist by chance. Some, but for the most part we are just so in love with who we are individually that if Ru wants to eat beef and I don’t, that’s fine.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Plus, as the longtime vegan put it, \u201cRu and I just have an innate understanding and deep, profound love for one another that it’s lasted all these years, and it ain’t going anywhere.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Of course, friendship is such an important aspect of Michelle\u2019s life, which is why, as someone who lived through the AIDS epidemic in the \u201880s and \u201890s, she is passionate about advocating for sexual health. <\/span><\/p>\n ViiV Healthcare<\/p>\n “So many people that I know of in my life would have done anything to have opportunities like we have now for [preventing] transmission of HIV through PrEP,” she shared about the preventative medication while discussing her partnership with ViiV Healthcare. “People still\u2014especially youth\u2014do not understand that HIV does not discriminate.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt could affect anyone, anywhere, at any time,\u201d she added. \u201cIt’s important to keep in mind that PrEP is for everyone.” <\/span><\/p>\n Plus, as Michelle noted, there are now multiple options to take the preventative medication, including long-acting injectable medicines that she called “an amazing opportunity.”<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cIt is so exciting to have these options, because HIV prevention is not one size fits all,\u201d she explained, noting people can go to ViiV\u2019s <\/span>Get PReP Wisdom<\/span><\/a> website to learn more. \u201cI don’t think people know all of it.
