Netflix loves a twisty sci-fi<\/a> in which regular folks get suddenly trapped inside their home<\/a> with no means of escape. Brick<\/em> blew our minds<\/a>, and now another mysterious sci-fi snare is set to to arrive in The Last House<\/em>, with a tense new trailer out today.<\/p>\n

Greta Lee and Wagner Moura star in this thriller from director Louis Leterrier (Now You See Me<\/em><\/a>), with the Past Lives<\/em><\/a> <\/em>and The Secret Agent<\/em><\/a> stars playing couple Ann and Jason, who find themselves and their kids sealed inside their house. Like the Ultrahouse 3000 from The Simpsons<\/em>, the house appears to have a mind of its own, pushing its inhabitants into survival mode within their own home. <\/p>\n

Gabriel Barbosa, Emma Ho, Noah Alexander Sosnowski, and Riley Chung also star.<\/p>\n

The Last House<\/em> is streaming on Netflix on Aug. 7.<\/a><\/p>\n
