The video was set to Grande&#8217;s track &#8216;Bye&#8217; and accompanied by the caption: &#8220;Bye-bye. President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Days later, Grande reportedly responded directly beneath the post, condemning the use of her music. She wrote: &#8220;Please do not ever use my music in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense. F*** ICE.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>However, by Friday (12 June), the comment was no longer visible on the video. Grande&#8217;s representatives later confirmed to <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2026\/music\/news\/ariana-grande-slams-trump-white-house-ice-video-1236779280\/\" target=\"_blank\">Variety<\/a> that she had left the message, but said that &#8220;for some reason it&#8217;s not publicly visible&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>The clip has also since been stripped of its original soundtrack. At the time of writing, TikTok displays a notice stating: &#8220;This sound isn&#8217;t available.&#8221;<\/p>\n<div id=\"8e25f\" class=\"rm-shortcode\" data-rm-shortcode-id=\"64c34a7ceb4f85f699e8062ba20521da\" data-thumbnail=\"\">\n<div class=\"rm-embed-container rm-embed-tiktok rm-loading\"><span class=\"rm-embed-spacer rm-embed-spacer-mobile\" style=\"padding-bottom: 197.067%\"\/><span class=\"rm-embed-spacer rm-embed-spacer-desktop\" style=\"padding-bottom: 122.149%\"\/><\/p>\n<div class=\"rm-embed-holder\"><a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" target=\"_blank\" title=\"@whitehouse\" href=\"https:\/\/www.tiktok.com\/@whitehouse\">@whitehouse<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Bye-bye \ud83d\udc4b President Trump has delivered the most secure border in history<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Responding to Grande&#8217;s criticism, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson told Indy100: \u201cWe\u2019ll say this one last time: what\u2019s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal aliens who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Grande is not the first artist to object to the White House using their music in immigration-related social media content.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, <a rel=\"nofollow\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.indy100.com\/news\/sabrina-carpenter-white-house-juno-ice\" target=\"_blank\">Sabrina Carpenter spoke out<\/a> after her song &#8216;Juno&#8217; featured in a similar White House video. Reacting on X\/Twitter, she wrote: &#8220;Do not ever involve me or my music to benefit your inhumane agenda.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Jackson later fired back, saying: &#8220;Here\u2019s a Short n\u2019 Sweet message for Sabrina Carpenter: we won\u2019t apologize for deporting dangerous criminal illegal murderers, rapists, and pedophiles from our country.
