One release that will definitely be some people\u2019s album of the season is the latest from reggae-punk pioneers Sublime<\/strong>, now featuring Jakob Nowell<\/strong>. For those who like breezier, folk music during these sunny days, the latest from Fruit Bats <\/strong>will surely satisfy (read our review of it here<\/a>). Another exciting return this week: beloved 2000\u2019s emo\/power pop band Piebald<\/strong> is back with their first new album in a very long time. And finally there\u2019s the skank-tastic new album from The<\/strong> Doomstompers<\/strong>, and another EP from The King Blues<\/strong>. <\/p>\n Legendary songwriter Robyn Hitchcock<\/strong> has shared the latest, upbeat bop from his upcoming new album, and The Menzingers<\/strong> have dropped the third single from their new album coming this July. NY\u2019s favorite indie rockers Interpol<\/strong> have returned with two new songs, and Jack White<\/strong> non-announced his new album, and dropped a slamming new song. Brian Fallon<\/strong>, Northcote<\/strong>, American Aquarium<\/strong> and The Mountain Goats<\/strong> are making this a true songwriter\u2019s summer with their latest singles, and 311<\/strong>\u2018s Nick Hexum<\/strong> is continuing his solo journey with a new single.<\/p>\n Hitmakers Train<\/strong> are now two songs into their next album, and Dirty Heads<\/strong> go deep on their melancholy new one. The Linda Lindas<\/strong> have moved onto a major label, showing they aren\u2019t \u2018burning out,\u2019 and honestav<\/strong> continues his ascent with a new collab with MGK<\/strong>.
