American pop star Ariana Grande told President Donald Trump’s administration on \u200bThursday to stop using her music to promote its \u200cpolicies.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

The comment came after the White House shared a video on TikTok earlier this week highlighting its immigration policy. The video, which depicts federal \u200bagents arresting and handcuffing people, features the Grammy Award-winning \u200bsinger’s 2024 song “Bye.”<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

“Please do not ever use my music \u2060in relation to this barbaric, inhumane, heinous nonsense,” Grande \u200bwrote in a comment posted on the White House video on \u200bTikTok on Thursday.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

A source close to the singer said her team is looking into how to remove the music from the video as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Responding \u200bto Grande, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson said: \u201cWe\u2019ll say this \u200bone last time: what\u2019s actually barbaric, inhumane, and heinous are the criminal illegal \u200caliens \u2060who have injured and murdered innocent American citizens.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Grande, a singer and Academy Award-nominated actress, was critical of the Trump administration last year after sharing a post on Instagram asking people who \u200bvoted for Trump \u200bif their \u2060lives had gotten better since he returned to office.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
