\n\tOlivia Rodrigo<\/a> doesn\u2019t seem sad at all now that You Seem Pretty Sad for a Girl So in Love <\/em>is out in the world, with the pop star sharing a note to fans shortly after its release expressing how \u201cthrilled\u201d she is that the project is \u201cfinally yours.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\t\u201cI love this album so much,\u201d she wrote in the Instagram message<\/a> posted Friday (June 12). \u201cThe record is a time capsule of a relationship in all of its highs and lows. It\u2019s my attempt at capturing love from both sides of the coin. The hope and the disappointment. The insanity and the clarity. The entanglement and the unraveling.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tArriving three years after sophomore effort Guts <\/em>and five years after debut album Sour <\/em>\u2014 both of which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200<\/a> \u2014 Rodrigo\u2019s new 13-track LP certainly covers a wide range of emotions. Kicking off with Billboard Hot 100<\/a>-topping lead single \u201cDrop Dead,\u201d You Seem Pretty Sad <\/em>begins with joyful, passionate love songs that soon give way to anxiety, dread and, ultimately, a breakup by the end.
