The Illinois farmer chose Casey, a project manager from Knoxville, Tenn., during the finale, but their relationship faced an immediate challenge after filming wrapped: long distance.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, since wrapping, we haven\u2019t gone more than two weeks without seeing each other,\u201d Braden reveals. \u201cWe\u2019ve seen each other a lot, and it\u2019s honestly felt so easy. It hasn\u2019t felt like distance at all.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThere are some times where I\u2019m like, \u2018Man, I wish you were here\u2019 or \u2018I wish I was there,\u2019 ” he continues. \u201cBut it\u2019s just been so easy and natural. That\u2019s the honest truth. It\u2019s been really great.\u201d<\/p>\n
The pair\u2019s strong communication was on display throughout the season, particularly during conversations about Casey potentially relocating away from her close-knit family if their relationship continued.<\/p>\n
Looking back, Braden says honesty helped them navigate those concerns.<\/p>\n
\u201cShe never said she wouldn\u2019t move there,\u201d he explains. \u201cShe was just saying, \u2018Hey, that\u2019s something we\u2019d need to navigate and talk about.\u2019 “<\/p>\n
\u201cI just responded honestly myself,\u201d he continues. \u201cI was like, \u2018Yeah, I totally get that. That\u2019s a big ask. I understand that.\u2019 “<\/p>\n
Braden says one of the things that solidified their connection was the openness they established early on.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of our first conversations on the show, Casey said to me, \u2018If you\u2019re honest with me, I\u2019ll be honest with you,\u2019 ” he recalls. \u201cI feel like through this whole season, every conversation with Casey, I left feeling so much better and even more sure that that\u2019s the girl.\u201d<\/p>\n
For Casey, bringing up her concerns early was important because she wasn\u2019t sure what expectations Braden had for life after filming.<\/p>\n
\u201cI did want to bring up my concerns because I didn\u2019t know what his expectations were of me,\u201d she says. \u201cIf he were to pick me in the end when the show wrapped up, I didn\u2019t know if he was expecting me to move right away.\u201d<\/p>\n
She says Braden immediately put her at ease.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe definitely made me feel a lot better,\u201d Casey recalls. \u201cHe was like, \u2018I would never make you move right away. Obviously, we\u2019d need to date and make sure this is right before any of that happens.\u2019 “<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd he said, \u2018I want to bring peace, not pressure.\u2019 “<\/p>\n
\u201cThat made me feel so much better,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n
Since the cameras stopped rolling, the couple has spent time getting to know each other\u2019s families away from the spotlight.<\/p>\n
Just weeks after filming ended, Braden traveled to Knoxville to meet Casey\u2019s family, while Casey later spent time with his parents in Illinois.<\/p>\n
\u201cSince then we\u2019ve kind of just been going back and forth, which has been so nice,\u201d Casey says. \u201cReally getting to know his family and getting to know mine more.\u201d<\/p>\n
The families recently reunited while vacationing near the beach, where they watched the season\u2019s family episode together.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur parents just get along so well,\u201d Casey says. \u201cThe family dynamics are very similar, which has made it very easy and very fun.\u201d<\/p>\n
As for what\u2019s next, Braden confirms they\u2019ve had conversations about the future, though the details remain between them.<\/p>\n
\u201cRight now our focus is just actually being able to go out in public together,\u201d he says. \u201cBut yeah, there have definitely been conversations.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhat I can tell you now is that things are great and looking great.\u201d<\/p>\n
