We\u2019re not looking for the traditional shows that have occupied this space historically.<\/p>\n
Tonally, think the wit and playfulness of Taskmaster, Would I Lie to You?, Last One Laughing, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown, or The Roast of the Sidemen – but at lower cost, so really think about the efficiency of your production model, ie Richard Osman’s House of Games<\/a> or The Traitors Uncloaked<\/a>.<\/p>\n The show should be pure fun, rooted in universal themes and banter. Make us laugh.<\/p>\n We will shortlist ideas for paid development, with the intention of commissioning one full series.<\/p>\n We\u2019re seeking a mix of recognisable and rising comedy voices or well-known faces with a comedic tone and genuine chemistry. At least one name should have real audience pull to grab viewers\u2019 attention \u2013 either leading or supporting as part of the cast.<\/p>\n We want to appeal to younger audiences aged 25-45, while remaining accessible to BBC Two\u2019s loyal comedy loving fanbase of 45+.<\/p>\n Throw out the instruction manual. We want you to rethink how comedy entertainment is made.<\/p>\n You\u2019ll need a fast turnaround production model, filming multiple shows a day without impacting quality.
