The British Royal Family celebrated the\u00a0King\u2019s Official Birthday<\/span><\/a>\u00a0at the annual\u00a0Trooping the Colour Ceremony in London<\/b><\/span><\/a>\u00a0<\/b>on June 13th. The annual event of Trooping of the Colour has marked the official birthday of the Sovereign for more than 260 years, and this is the\u00a0fourth of King Charles\u2019 Reign<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0Prince<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Princess of Wales<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and their Family\u00a0were pictured arriving at Buckingham Palace ahead of the Trooping the Colour Ceremony.<\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

The\u00a0Prince of Wales<\/span><\/a>, the\u00a0Princess Royal<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and the\u00a0Duke of Edinburgh<\/span><\/a>\u00a0rode on Horseback, while\u00a0King Charles III<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0Queen Camilla<\/span><\/a>, the\u00a0Princess of Wales<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0Prince George<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0Princess Charlotte<\/span><\/a>, and\u00a0Prince Louis<\/span><\/a>, the\u00a0Duchess of Edinburgh<\/span><\/a>,\u00a0Sir Timothy Laurence<\/span><\/a>, and the\u00a0Duke<\/span><\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Duchess of Gloucester<\/span><\/a>\u00a0were in carriages as they rode down the Mall from Buckingham Palace to\u00a0Horse Guards Parade, where they joined other members of the Royal Family to watch the parade from the Major General\u2019s office.<\/p>\n

King Charles III, the Head of the Armed Forces, was joined by Queen Camilla, (Colonel of\u00a0The Grenadier Guards<\/span><\/a>), the Prince of Wales, (Colonel of\u00a0The\u00a0Welsh Guards<\/span><\/a>), the Princess of Wales, (Colonel of\u00a0The\u00a0Irish Guards<\/span><\/a>), the Princess Royal, (Gold Stick in Waiting and Colonel of The Blues and Royals, Royal Horse Guards and 1st Dragoons), and the Duke of Edinburgh,\u00a0 <\/span>(Colonel of the Scots Guards), to view the 1st and 2nd Battalion (Number 7 Company) the Coldstream Guards troop their Colour, while the Sovereign\u2019s Escort was provided by The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals.<\/p>\n

Following the Parade, members of the Royal Family returned to Buckingham Palace on horseback or in carriages, escorted by the The Life Guards and The Blues and Royals, with the King taking the salute upon arrival back at the Palace. Members of the Royal Family appeared on the Balcony of Buckingham Palace to view the Royal Air Force Flypast, followed by the National Anthem, which marked the end of the King\u2019s Official Birthday.<\/p>\n
