THE RUNDOWN<\/strong><\/p>\n Hot Ones<\/em> host Sean Evans<\/a> has been a fan of Nope<\/em> actress Keke Palmer<\/a> for some time, and his job as an interviewer has offered him ample opportunity to get to know her. And they did share a cute kiss<\/a> once, but it was pretty public and seemingly casual.<\/p>\n Then this week, it became clear they have been spending time together off camera as well. When photos were published by TMZ showing them enjoying dinner together, dating rumors started circulating.<\/p>\n But as far as anyone can tell, the two are just friends. Here\u2019s their complete (platonic) relationship timeline so far.<\/p>\n Evans invited Palmer onto Hot Ones<\/em> for the first time in 2017. She was promoting her show Berlin Station<\/em>, and they seemed to hit it off right away.<\/p>\n She was back four years later:<\/p>\n The internet personality mentioned Palmer during an episode of Chicken Shop Date<\/em> with Amelia Dimoldenberg when asked if he\u2019d ever crushed on one of his guests.<\/p>\n \u201cKeke Palmer,\u201d Evans replied. \u201cVery charming. Very charming woman.\u201d<\/p>\n Palmer commented on Evans\u2019s confession when it was posted as an interview clip, saying, \u201cIt was love at first hot wing\u2014this was too kind @seanseaevans.\u201d<\/p>\n The actress told People<\/em><\/a> in August 2024 that she was \u201cliving for\u201d his interview with Dimoldenberg.<\/p>\n \u201cNot to say that I was surprised or I wasn\u2019t surprised,\u201d she explained. \u201cBut when I heard it and people were sending it to me, I was like, \u2018I knew the vibes were vibing.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n She addressed his comments with more direct action during another appearance on Hot One<\/em>s in 2025.<\/p>\n \u201cI saw an interview where you said, like, I was your favorite guest, and all this really sweet stuff,\u201d she said. \u201cI know we\u2019ve just had some wings, but I thought that maybe we could just have a quick smooch to see if there\u2019s a spark.\u201d<\/p>\n He readily agreed and they kissed.<\/p>\n \u201cThe sparks are sparking!\u201d Palmer joked afterwards.<\/p>\n Evans added, \u201cWhen I\u2019m dying, and my life flashes before my eyes, I\u2019ll have that snapshot.\u201d<\/p>\n In the spring of 2026, Evans made an appearance on Baby, This Is Keke Palmer<\/em> podcast. She introduced him as her \u201cpotential future suitor,\u201d before they discussed their kiss.<\/p>\n \u201cI think they probably thought it was scripted because you didn\u2019t seem surprised at all,\u201d she said, to which he replied, \u201cI didn\u2019t give it a second to breathe.
