During the conversation, PEOPLE asked the industry veteran, 69, who produced the first two <em>Princess Diaries<\/em> films, if the new installment was on the horizon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cWe are more than hopeful,\u201d Chase told PEOPLE.<\/p>\n<p class=\"mb-4 text-lg md:leading-8 break-words\">\u201cWe are moving in that direction.
