One of the biggest music composers of Indian cinema \u2013 Pritam Chakraborty aka Pritam<\/a> recently turned 55 on June 14, 2026.\n<\/p>\n The musician took to social media and thanked everyone for their wishes. In the long post, he further shared his future plans and seemingly announced his retirement from mainstream music.\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Taking to Instagram, Pritam shared a couple of pictures of himself and wrote, \u201cThank you for all the wishes. Can\u2019t answer everyone individually, but please accept my sincere gratitude.\u201d\n<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cToday, I have decided to gift myself a few years to live life differently. To catch up on what I\u2019ve missed. Time to set off on new journeys, which have been kept on the back burner for long.\u201d\n<\/p>\n And added, \u201cMainstream is a great ride. But I\u2019ve always been more curious about the roads unexplored. Thank you for all the love & support.
