MLB legend Alex Rodriguez<\/a> and his longtime girlfriend, Jaclyn Cordeiro, split in late May 2026 after three years together. <\/p>\n

Cordeiro confirmed their breakup with TMZ<\/a><\/em>, telling the outlet, \u201cTo clarify, Alex and I are currently taking some time apart, but there continues to be mutual love, care, and deep respect between us and for our families. We remain supportive of one another, and there is absolutely no animosity, drama, or negative story here.\u201d<\/p>\n

Weeks later, Rodriguez\u2019s ex-fianc\u00e9e Jennifer Lopez<\/a> reportedly weighed in on the split. According to a June 14 report from RadarOnline<\/a><\/em>, the \u201cOn The Floor\u201d singer has \u201czero sympathy\u201d for Rodriguez.<\/p>\n

This comes after Hollywood insider Rob Shuter<\/a> reported that, shortly after he and Cordeiro called it quits, Rodriguez reached out to Lopez<\/a> in hopes of rekindling their romance.<\/p>\n

Lopez and Rodriguez started dating in February 2017 and got engaged two years later, in March 2019. However, they ended their engagement in March 2021 and officially split a month later amid rumors of infidelity on Rodriguez\u2019s part.<\/p>\n

Another shared that Rodriguez isn\u2019t \u201cpretending the past didn\u2019t happen,\u201d but he \u201cabsolutely misses her presence in his life. There\u2019s still a tremendous amount of affection there.\u201d<\/p>\n

Still, sources emphasize that Lopez may not feel the same way. As the two-time Grammy nominee continues navigating her divorce from Ben Affleck, she\u2019s reportedly \u201cin a much more guarded and emotionally centered place these days.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cShe\u2019s open to peace, not chaos,\u201d a separate source explained. \u201cBut she hasn\u2019t shut the door completely either.\u201d<\/p>\n
