15 Jun<\/b> – It has been a while since Ady An appeared on the small screen, which is why fans are elated to find out that she has starred in the music video of A-Lin’s new song, “Alone”.<\/p>\n
Speaking about the music video, Ady stated that she was moved to tears by the song the first time she listened to it, and therefore hoped that the music video could truly capture the moment when “everyone has experienced being alone”.<\/p>\n
Since Ady hadn’t performed in a long time, there were concerns that her acting skills might have become rusty and that she wouldn’t be able to get into character. However, on the day of filming, the moment Ady appeared in her first shot, the team knew there was nothing to worry about.<\/p>\n
In the music video, Ady plays a woman who lives alone, and is repeatedly shown talking and arguing on the phone while being alone; experiencing happiness, sadness and fears on her own. She can also be seen miming to the song behind A-Lin during the chorus.<\/p>\n
The music video ended with A-Lin coming to see her, bringing drinks to accompany her.<\/p>\n
It was revealed that Ady and A-Lin met through the late An Juncan, who was Ady’s best friend of many years prior to his passing. They hit it off immediately, became close friends, and have accompanied each other through different stages of life.<\/p>\n
Ady, whose husband Chen Ronglian has been sentenced to 13 years in prison, has focused on raising her two children alone since his incarceration.<\/p>\n
