The Princess of Wales has been spotted in a fit of giggles during the royal family\u2019s first Order of the Garter ceremony since Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of the honour.<\/p>\n

In pictures of the event, Kate was seen chatting with Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh as they took in the procession, featuring Prince William, King Charles, Queen Camilla, Princess Anne, Prince Edward and the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester at St George\u2019s Chapel at Windsor Castle on Monday.<\/p>\n

The princess opted for a custom gold Patrick McDowell dress for the occasion, accessorised with a matching wide-brimmed Jane Taylor hat, and the Robinson Pelham earrings she wore at her wedding \u2013 a gift from her parents, Carole and Michael Middleton.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, despite Andrew not being seen at the public event since his disastrous 2019 Newsnight<\/i> interview, he had previously held onto his membership of the order and was allowed to attend the post-ceremony private lunch and reception.<\/p>\n

However, he was stripped of his Order of the Garter status last October at the same time as he lost his \u201cprince\u201d title, revealed in an extraordinary statement by the King amid growing outcry over his links to Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n

Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office in February this year and is now living in exile on the King\u2019s private Sandringham estate.<\/p>\n

He has denied all allegations of wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

The latest high-profile royal event comes just two days after the family put on a united display at the Trooping of the Colour<\/a> parade in central London.<\/p>\n

While it was mostly a celebratory atmosphere as the official marking of the monarch\u2019s birthday, an awkward moment unfolded<\/a> for the royals when Republic protesters made their presence known.<\/p>\n

In footage which has now gone viral<\/a>, Kate can be seen appearing to glare at the anti-monarchists as they booed her and her three children \u2013 Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, eight \u2013 as they made their way through the streets in a royal carriage procession.<\/p>\n

Demonstrators were heard shouting \u201cNot my King!\u201d and holding up banners with images of Andrew and Epstein, as well as umbrellas with the words \u201cStop the Reign\u201d written on them.<\/p>\n

The three royal kids, who had been waving to the mostly-cheering crowds, appeared confused as they went past the protesters, as Kate was seen staring them down, a stern look on her face.<\/p>\n

The clip was posted on social media alongside a caption, which included the words: \u201cIf looks could kill.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGrown adults booed children. They should be ashamed of themselves,\u201d one user commented on it.<\/p>\n
