Hollywood legends Jamie Lee Curtis<\/a><\/strong> and Mariska<\/strong>Hargitay<\/strong> recently reconnected to discuss their experiences as actors.<\/p>\n The pair were both born with a familiar understanding of the entertainment industry. Curtis is the daughter of legendary actors Tony Curtis<\/strong> and Janet Leigh<\/strong>. While Hargitay\u2019s late mother was Jayne Mansfield<\/strong>, an actress and Playboy playmate who died in a car accident.<\/p>\n Now, they are known for their impact on TV and film. We also have a female directing producer named Brenna<\/strong>Malloy<\/strong>, who pushes me to new heights,\u201d Hargitay responded.<\/p>\n Curtis is known for her roles in films like Halloween<\/a>, Everything Everywhere All at Once, and Freaky Friday<\/a>. At 67 years old, she is currently on the 2026 show Scarpetta.<\/p>\n \u201c[You and I] are two women over 60, both on shows that have women showrunners and directing producers,\u201d she said. \u201cI\u2019m only on [Scarpetta] because Nicole Kidman<\/a><\/strong> said, \u2018Jamie is on the show, right?\u2019 I was a producer. I just wanted to be a boss; I didn\u2019t want to have to put on the gear.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cYou do wear some gear in Scarpetta. You\u2019re showing the girls,\u201d Hargitay said while nodding towards the True Lies star\u2019s breasts.<\/p>\n \u201cThe girls were retired.
