A Perfect Circle<\/a> are \u201cworking towards\u201d new music, following them kicking off their first UK tour in eight years and releasing the standalone single \u2018Starless\u2019.<\/p>\n

The new track from the band dropped in a surprise release last month<\/a>, and marked their first since the track \u2018Kindred\u2019, which featured on 2024\u2019s \u2018Sessanta E.P.P.P.<\/a>\u2019 alongside contributions from Primus<\/a> and another Maynard James Keenan<\/a>-led band, Puscifer<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Since then, they have kicked off their first UK and European tour dates since 2018 \u2013 breaking out the new single for the first time at London\u2019s O2 Academy Brixton<\/a>, alongside some fan favourites and deep cuts.<\/p>\n

Now, guitarist and founder Billy Howerdel has opened up about if fans can expect them to release a new album anytime soon.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere\u2019s more [music] underway. And in the spirit of soft deadlines, I\u2019m not gonna give you the date, but we\u2019re working toward something,\u201d he told Minneapolis\u2019s 93Xradio<\/em> station.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re on tour, and it\u2019s hard to get solid things done when you\u2019re out here. I sometimes optimistically think that\u2019s going to happen, [but now, for example] we\u2019re six shows in and this is the first day I really slept,\u201d Howerdel added. \u201cSo to get real cracking on the new album, I need a couple more of these days to line up over the next tour.\u201d<\/p>\n
