Joe Jonas<\/a> isn’t giving up on his acting career<\/a> yet.<\/p>\n “There’s a couple projects that I’ve been developing that I’m excited about that I would put myself in and find the time if it worked,” the singer-songwriter<\/a>, 36, tells USA TODAY. “I’m always up for the challenge, you know? It can be very humbling going on auditions, but I think it’s good to make yourself have that feeling of rejection therapy, you know?”<\/p>\n In addition to the platinum-selling Jonas Brothers band, Joe and siblings Kevin and Nick cohost the “Hey Jonas!”<\/a> podcast. That’s where Joe made headlines when he dished about an audition for a role on the Apple TV+ show “The Morning Show.”<\/a> According to Jonas, he “crashed and burned.”<\/p>\n Joe Jonas drops a new solo single, “The Cozy Anthem,” in collaboration with the mobile farming game Hay Day.<\/p>\n “It was literally like, I don\u2019t even know what I\u2019m auditioning for,” he recalled on the podcast. “It was such a bad audition.\u201d<\/p>\n Jonas, who checks in from the UK via Zoom, is currently promoting a more familiar project: music. The artist cowrote and sings “The Cozy Anthem,” which will be featured in the mobile farming game Hay Day<\/a>. Jonas’ new single will also help launch a two-week virtual music festival taking place across social media and in the game’s app.<\/p>\n “Honestly, you build a farm and you have to grow your crops and feed your animals,” Jonas, an avid gamer, explains. “I’m currently trying to get as many chickens as possible.”<\/p>\n Joe Jonas receives the animation treatment for Hay Day, a mobile farming game. The singer-songwriter released an original track, “The Cozy Anthem,” for the mobile game.<\/p>\n Jonas cowrote “The Cozy Anthem,” a callback to his father Kevin’s roots in country music, with Paris Carney. The two worked on multiple tracks for Jonas’ 2025 solo LP, “Music for People Who Believe in Love.” As for the singer’s ideal cozy setting, that depends on whether its the morning or evening.<\/p>\n “A cozy morning is usually making breakfast for me and my kids, getting them off to school and walking through the gorgeous park here and just taking in the day as the world’s waking up,” he says. Jonas shares two daughters aged 5 and 3 with ex Sophie Turner<\/a>. “When you wake up earlier than I guess a handful of people, you feel like it’s an accomplishment and you feel like the world’s waking up with you. That’s a special feeling.”<\/p>\n As for the evening, Jonas enjoys playing vinyl records and people-watching from his balcony. He admits that lately, he’s been able to enjoy a lot of coziness. But that may soon change.<\/p>\n What’s next for the Jonas Brothers? Joe dishes to USA TODAY that “a unique tour” and the marking of a few anniversaries are in the works.<\/p>\n “We’ll probably be speaking to you again in the next few months here,” he jokes, teasing that he and his brothers are planning “a unique tour” for their fans. “There’s a lot of anniversaries of albums and things like that. So we’re looking at how do we celebrate some of these in a major way, not just playing some of the songs.”<\/p>\n 2027 will mark the 20-year anniversary of the Jonas Brothers’ debut appearance on Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana.”<\/a> Joe remembers he and his brothers were “so fresh” to acting that they had acting coaches to prepare for their roles. The following year, they starred in “Camp Rock” alongside Demi Lovato. Jonas and Lovato are friends to this day.<\/p>\n “I’m so grateful that Demi and I can go perform together still and see each other in these different journeys of our life,” he says, noting that he’s also been able to spend time with Lovato’s husband, Jordan Lutes, “who’s just so incredible.”<\/p>\n Lovato made a surprise appearance at the Jonas Brothers’ 2025 tour kickoff<\/a> at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Joe returned the favor when Lovato kicked off her “It’s Not That Deep”<\/a> tour in April. Jonas calls both nights “really special.”<\/p>\n “I hope to continue doing more together,” he says. “It’s just one of those elements where there could be a lot more down the road.”<\/p>\n<\/span><\/div>\n
