\n\tSony Pictures Entertainment<\/a> will handle international distribution for the theatrical release of Greta Gerwig<\/a>\u2019s \u201cNarnia: The Magician\u2019s Nephew,\u201d Netflix said Tuesday.<\/p>\n \n\tThe epic adventure will be released in Imax and in theaters worldwide on Feb. 12, 2027, and will debut on Netflix on April 2, 2027. Sneak previews, exclusively in Imax, will begin on Feb. 10, 2027.<\/p>\n \n\tNetflix will handle domestic distribution for the movie, which will receive a wide release across North America. The film will play in major theatrical chains including AMC, Regal, Cinemark, Cineplex, Marcus and Harkins, along with thousands of regional and independent theaters.<\/p>\n \n\tNetflix and Sony Pictures have a strong track record of partnership, including their landmark global Pay-1 licensing deal under which SPE\u2019s feature films stream on Netflix worldwide \u2014 an industry-first for Pay-1 \u2014 following their full theatrical and home entertainment windows.<\/p>\n \n\tDan Lin, chairman of Netflix Film, said: \u201cGreta\u2019s \u2018Narnia\u2019 is exactly the kind of bold, ambitious filmmaking we love to champion.
