90 Day Fianc\u00e9<\/i><\/a><\/span> star Patrick Mendes<\/strong> is taking additional legal steps to end his marriage to Thais Mendes<\/strong> (n\u00e9e Ramone).<\/p>\n

According to court records viewed by Us Weekly<\/i>, Patrick first filed for divorce from his wife in May.<\/p>\n

The TLC reality star proceeded to file for a default summary disposition in his divorce on Monday, June 15, which was 25 calendar days after Thais was served with the divorce papers. (According to Nevada state law, Thais had 21 calendar days to respond to the divorce after being served.)<\/p>\n

In court documents first obtained by Starcasm<\/span><\/a>, Patrick requested sole legal custody and primary physical custody of the couple\u2019s 3-year-old daughter, Aleesi.<\/p>\n

The new filings also alleged that Patrick and Thais have been splitting their time with Aleesi since early May. According to court documents filed by Patrick, Aleesi has been with her dad four to five days a week and with her mom three to four days a week since May 6.<\/p>\n

Us<\/i> has reached out to TLC for comment.<\/p>\n

News of Patrick and Thais\u2019 split comes as the pair continue to work on their relationship on season 3 of 90 Day: The Last Resort<\/i><\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Ever since the season kicked off on June 1, fans have received a front-row seat to the couple\u2019s ups and downs.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe past few years have been difficult for Patrick and Thais, marked by the birth of their daughter, a move to Las Vegas, a failed business, family tragedy and health issues,\u201d TLC said when the season was first announced. \u201cAs Patrick works to recover financially and emotionally, tensions rise over spending, support and communication. A growing lack of intimacy and Thais\u2019s desire to travel to Brazil more frequently, sometimes without Patrick, has further strained their relationship. With trust and respect issues escalating, the couple is struggling to stay connected.\u201d<\/p>\n

In a recent Instagram post, Thais celebrated her milestone 30th birthday and raised eyebrows when she suggested a new chapter was beginning for her life.<\/p>\n
