It\u2019s a new love story. Earlier this week, Conversations With Friends<\/em><\/a> actor Joe Alwyn<\/a> and Love Story: John F. Kennedy and Carolyn Bessette<\/em><\/a> star Sarah Pidgeon<\/a> sparked romance rumors after they were spotted out in New York City together.<\/p>\n

First, outlets like DeuxMoi<\/a> reported that the pair was seen hanging around the Fort Greene neighborhood, with photos that appeared relatively nondescript. However, the duo was captured soon after by Page Six<\/em>, walking around Brooklyn laughing, wrapping their arms around each other, and even kissing (as seen here<\/a>). Now, we have one of the first photos of the alleged new couple.<\/p>\n

Pidgeon was seen sporting a white tank and blue jeans, with a few black accessories. Meanwhile, her date wore a black tee and stone-wash jeans with multicolored sneakers for the occasion.<\/p>\n

Alwyn was famously linked to Taylor Swift<\/a> for over six years, after the two met at the Met Gala in 2016. During their time together, they made very few public outings<\/a>, and they ended their relationship<\/a> in early 2023, as Swift launched her record-breaking Eras Tour.<\/p>\n

Many of Swift\u2019s most-beloved songs were inspired by their relationship, such as \u201cDelicate,\u201d \u201cCornelia Street,\u201d and \u201cLover.\u201d Following their split, her eleventh studio album, The Tortured Poets Department, <\/em>was partly inspired<\/a> by their breakup, specifically on tracks like \u201cSo Long, London\u201d and \u201cloml.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the wake of their split, an insider told People<\/em><\/a>: \u201cJoe has struggled with Taylor\u2019s level of fame and the attention from the public.\u201d Currently, the pop superstar is engaged<\/a> to NFL player Travis Kelce.<\/p>\n

As for Pidgeon, she\u2019s only been previously linked to Caleb Harper, the guitarist and lead singer of the indie rock group Spacey Jane. However, she\u2019s kept her private life mostly out of the spotlight as well.<\/p>\n

It is unclear how Alwyn and Pidgeon met, or how long they\u2019ve been romantically linked. Needless to say, with just one low-key date, they\u2019ve quickly caught the world\u2019s attention.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
