Fiercely proud Yorta Yorta, Dja Dja Wurrung, Kalkadoon and Yirendali sovereign woman Miss Kaninna<\/strong> is hyping herself up for a charge around the country in August and September, hot off the back of her debut mixtape.<\/p>\n

Her seven-date national tour coincides with the drop of BLACKPRINT<\/em>, a mixtape crafted from freestyles that evolved into full blown songs Miss Kaninna performed to stadium-sized crowds. Powered by expressions of freedom, anger, joy and frustration, the Blak Britney Spears herself spits bars with her electric urgency.<\/p>\n

Kicking off in Boorloo\/Perth on August 21 (the same day the mixtape is unleashed into the world), Miss Kaninna will head north to Gulmerrogin\/Darwin, down into the heart of the country in Mparntwe\/Alice Springs, and then wind her way down the east coast.<\/p>\n

She’ll wrap it all up on Dja Dja Wurrung Country with a special show in Castlemaine on Saturday 19 September.<\/p>\n

Tickets for Miss Kaninna’s Australian headline tour are on sale from 12pm local time on Tuesday 23 June, with a cheeky presale kicking off the say before. Check out the tour’s website<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n
