Theory of a Deadman will release a new EP called\u00a0Part 1: Funeral Songs<\/em> on September 4 through ONErpm. The Canadian rock group just shared their second single, “Winnebago (Lay Low)<\/a>” with a music video. They put out “Barricade<\/a>” earlier this year.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n “‘Winnebago (Lay Low)’ is the epitome of the anti-bar song. The F around and find out sing-along,” said frontman Tyler Connolly, according to RTTNews<\/a>. “As I get older, I realize that it really is better to just stay home.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Tyler Connolly explained how they’re putting out the six-track EP. “This song is among other anthems we recorded for our upcoming EP Funeral Songs, which is a part 1 of 2, and after all these years we’ve finally been able to focus on fewer songs and release more often like small batches of fine Kentucky Bourbon,” he said.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Chris Baseford and Tyler Connolly produced the new tracks. Chris Baseford and Irene Genova mixed the songs at Lucky Dog Sound. Ted Jensen handled mastering at Sterling Sound.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n The group landed two Top 10 debuts on the Billboard 200. They also grabbed four Top 5 debuts on the Canadian Albums Chart. Multiple Juno Award nominations have come their way throughout the years.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Part 1: Funeral Songs\u00a0<\/em>will come out on splattered vinyl and CD. Fans can pre-order through limited-edition signed bundles that include a t-shirt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
