California, June 17 (Petra) — His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al
\nHussein bin Abdullah II on Tuesday visited Playground Global in
\nCalifornia, an early-stage venture capital firm that invests in
\ntechnology start-ups.<\/p>\n
The Crown Prince discussed potential cooperation and investment
\nopportunities for the company in Jordan, highlighting the advantages
\nof investing in the Kingdom, and the role of the National Council for
\nFuture Technology in supporting the establishment of high-tech
\nprojects.<\/p>\n
His Royal Highness noted that, over recent years, Jordan has produced
\noutstanding talent in the technology sector, and is working to
\ndevelop educational curricula in line with developments in this
\nsector, which is contributing to strengthening the Kingdom\u2019s
\nstanding, broadening opportunities for young people, and leading to
\ninnovative technological solutions.<\/p>\n
Discussions during the visit also focused on the potential for
\ndeveloping advanced technical talent in Jordan in the fields of
\nsemiconductors, quantum computing, robotics, and bioengineering.<\/p>\n
During a tour of the company\u2019s headquarters, the Crown Prince was
\nshown examples of the robotics technology applications developed
\nthere, as well as models created using 3D printing technology.<\/p>\n
His Royal Highness was accompanied by Jordan\u2019s Ambassador to the
\nUnited States Dina Kawar, and Director of the Office of the Crown
\nPrince Zaid Baqain.<\/p>\n
