Together, we can create new opportunities for our artists and repertoire while continuing to support the creative community behind them.\u201d<\/p>\n As MBW previously reported<\/a>, India is a key market for Warner Music Group<\/strong>, with the company continuing to expand across the country\u2019s regional-language music sectors.<\/p>\n The company\u2019s push began in 2020 with a distribution partnership<\/a> with Tips Music<\/a><\/strong>, one of Bollywood\u2019s leading music companies.<\/p>\n In 2024, Warner Music India<\/strong> expanded the agreement<\/a> to include commercial and distribution responsibilities for Tips Music\u2019s<\/strong> catalog of more than 30,000 songs.<\/p>\n In 2023, the company acquired a majority stake<\/a> in South Indian digital media and music company Divo<\/strong>, which has since launched the independent artist label<\/a> Loopd<\/strong>.<\/p>\n That same year, Warner Music India<\/strong> expanded<\/a> into Punjabi music through Sky Digital<\/strong> and into Bhojpuri and Haryanvi repertoire through<\/a> Global Music Junction<\/strong>.<\/p>\n More recently, the company partnered with creator-focused platform<\/a> Rhythms.Life<\/strong> in December to help local artists reach global audiences.<\/p>\n\n
