The Recording Academy recently announced a new GRAMMY Awards category titled Best Asian Pop Music Performance, a move that has generated significant discussion across social media and among international music fans.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The new award is intended to recognise achievements in Asian pop music and will cover performances originating from or widely recognised within Asian markets.<\/p>\n
