Jimmy Kimmel<\/a> on Tuesday mocked President Donald Trump<\/a> for a $14 million Reflecting Pool makeover that ultimately didn\u2019t change much of anything. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cNot even a week later, it\u2019s already completely green<\/a>,\u201d Kimmel said as he showed footage of the pool, which Trump ordered painted \u201cAmerican flag blue,\u201d now green with algae.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

\u201cExperts are saying that when Trump had it painted dark blue, he made the problem worse, because the darker color retains more heat and algae thrives in warmer water<\/a>,\u201d Kimmel pointed out. \u201cYou know, he promised he would drain the swamp. Instead, he spent 14 million of our dollars building a new one.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\n

The late-night host voiced surprise that Trump, of all people, allowed this to happen.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cHe owns hotels. If there was one thing he could do, you would think it was keep a pool clean,\u201d Kimmel said. \u201cHe can\u2019t even get that right!\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Kimmel also rolled a clip of a Fox News<\/a> personality gushing that Trump is cleaning up the algae because \u201cno other president would do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cThat\u2019s right. No one,\u201d Kimmel sarcastically agreed. \u201cAbraham Lincoln wouldn\u2019t have done that. He couldn\u2019t have done it. He didn\u2019t have the courage to do it.\u201d <\/p>\n<\/div>\n
