Volunteers will meet at the Black River Trails parking lot, P1.<\/p>\n<partner-banner util-module-path=\"elements\/partner\" fluid=\"\" bottom=\"\" lazy=\"\" class=\"spacer-large\" min-height=\"390\" outstream=\"\"\/>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">Bird walk set for June 23<\/h2>\n<p>A discovery bird walk is scheduled for 8-10 a.m. June 23, led by master naturalists Janet and Andy Raddatz.<\/p>\n<p>The walk will take place along Old Park Road and the Ancient Shores Trail, with the route lasting about two to three hours.<\/p>\n<p><cta-atoms-container-inline util-module-path=\"elements\/cta\" class=\"spacer-large\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Participants who are 12 and older are welcome to join and can leave at any time. Some binoculars will be available. The walk will start at the Friends Pond parking lot at 2020 Old Park Road.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">Explore wildflowers with a master naturalist<\/h2>\n<p>On June 24, master naturalist Karen Merlau will lead a wildflower walk from 1:30-2:30 p.m. along the Black River Trail.<\/p>\n<partner-banner util-module-path=\"elements\/partner\" fluid=\"\" bottom=\"\" lazy=\"\" class=\"spacer-large\" min-height=\"600\" outstream=\"\" momentum=\"\"\/><partner-inline util-module-path=\"elements\/partner\" class=\"spacer-large\" placement=\"native-article_link\" sizes=\"[[300, 250], [3, 3]]\" min-height=\"250\" fluid=\"\" outstream=\"\"\/>\n<p>Participants will have the chance to discover a variety of wildflowers as the seasons change. Attendees are advised to bring water, sunscreen and bug spray, and to wear appropriate clothing for walking.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">Learn about dragonflies<\/h2>\n<p>A dragonfly exploration event is set for 9-10:30 a.m. June 27, led by naturalist Phyllis McKenzie.<\/p>\n<p>Attendees will learn about the more than 160 species of dragonflies and damselflies in Wisconsin and observe how they survive both above and below water.<\/p>\n<partner-inline util-module-path=\"elements\/partner\" placement=\"native-article_link\" sizes=\"[[300, 250], [3, 3]]\" min-height=\"250\" fluid=\"\" outstream=\"\"\/>\n<p>The event will include activities such as scooping aquatic nymphs and catching adult dragonflies with nets. Children must be accompanied by an adult.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"presto-h2 wp-block-heading\">Live music in the park<\/h2>\n<p>The week concludes with a music event featuring the Brew Brothers and Sister Band from 7 to 8 p.m. June 27 at the amphitheater near the campground.
