If you have ever found yourself on the outskirts of the local music scene, you would know of a place called 123Block, where gigs are often held.<\/p>\n
This June 20, 123Block is the place to be, with a full artist lineup and an art market waiting at Para Sa Bading<\/em>.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Para Sa Bading<\/em> is a benefit gig created and produced by Panganay Productions, with its net proceeds going to Galang PH, a non-government organization advocating for the human rights and empowerment of lesbians, bisexual women, and trans men (LBTs).<\/p>\n As its organizers, Panganay Productions is a group of gig-goers who tried their hand at organizing their own music events, ranging from fundraising gigs (Himig Kalinga<\/em>, Para Sa Bayan<\/em>), single and music video launches (Keanna Mag\u2019s Babalik<\/em> Single + MV Launch, Nameless Kids\u2019 Sinungaling<\/em> Single Launch Experience), and seasonal events (F.L.A.M.E.S.: A Valentine\u2019s Gig<\/em>).<\/p>\n Their mantra of \u201cfor the love of music\u201d takes on a different spin this Pride Month, citing the benefit gig as an extension of the shared passion that united this ragtag group in the first place\u2014Para Sa Bading<\/em>; for the love of love.<\/p>\n The fundraising event will feature local OPM acts including Pixie Labrador (Varsity Crush<\/em>), Ian Quiruz (Tindahan ng mga Alaala<\/em>), Frank Ely (Kay Ganda Mo<\/em>), Earl Generao (Punas Luha<\/em>), Magiliw Street (Akasya<\/em>), It All Started in May (O\u2019 Kay Tamis<\/em>), and Sugarcane (Leonora<\/em>).<\/p>\n Tickets start at PHP 850.00.<\/p>\n
