\n\tTucker Wetmore<\/a> has selected Sandbox Entertainment founder\/CEO Jason Owen <\/strong>as his new manager.<\/p>\n \n\tWetmore, the Academy of Country Music Awards\u2019 reigning new male artist of the year, has been one of country music\u2019s biggest breakout successes over the past few years. He first gained attention in 2024 with breakthrough hit \u201cWine Into Whiskey,\u201d which reached No. 16 on Billboard\u2019s Hot Country Songs<\/a> chart.<\/p>\n \t\t\t\t\tRelated\t\t<\/p>\n<\/h3>\n \t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p><\/div>\n \t\t\t<\/a>\n\t<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n \n\tTerrestrial country radio success quickly followed with a trio of hits \u2014 \u201cWind Up Missin\u2019 You\u201d and \u201c3,2,1,\u201d both of which peaked at No. 23 on Billboard\u2019s Country Airplay chart, succeeded by the tongue-twisting, fast-paced \u201cBrunette,\u201d which became his first No. 1 on the Country Airplay chart in May.\u00a0All four songs are featured on his full-length album debut, 2025\u2019s What Not To<\/em> (Back Blocks\/MCA\/Mercury), which reached No. 4 on Billboard\u2019s Top Country Albums<\/a> chart and No. 15 on the all-genre Billboard 200<\/a>.<\/p>\n \n\tWhere the Washington-state native really excels is with his charismatic live shows, developing quickly into an amphitheater headliner. After joining HARDY<\/a> on tour this spring, Wetmore kicks off the second leg of his Brunette World Tour June 21 in Uncasville, Conn., with support from Maddox Batson, Braxton Keith, William Beckmann and George Birge. Earlier this year, Wetmore toured the United Kingdom and continental Europe, including three sold-out nights in London.<\/p>\n \n\tWetmore, who was named Billboard<\/em>\u2019s Rising Star<\/a> in the June 4 Country Power Players issue, told Billboard<\/em> that global expansion is a priority. \u201cI feel like in the past, especially with country, [artists will have] grown so much in the States and then they\u2019re five years into their career, a couple of albums in, and they\u2019re like, \u2018All right, let\u2019s go take this thing worldwide,\u2019\u201d he recently said. \u201cThey\u2019re kind of playing catch-up, taking steps back [into] smaller venues \u2014 which is not wrong, it\u2019s [one] way to do it \u2014 but I\u2019ve always said I want to grow as much in the States as I am overseas at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n \n\tSandbox, which has offices in Nashville, Los Angeles and Charleston, S.C., also represents Billie Eilish<\/a>, Finneas<\/a>, Faith Hill, Little Big Town, Kacey Musgraves<\/a>, Kate Hudson and Kelsea Ballerini.<\/p>\n \n\tA representative for Sandbox and Wetmore confirmed the move. Wetmore\u2019s previous manager, Autumn Ledgin, declined to comment.<\/p>\n\n
