This year&#8217;s event will include some twists, including a specialty mother-daughter act, a new rodeo clown, a new announcer and the Double Dip Horse Show. The Doc Bar Speakeasy also is expanding its offerings with theme nights and Father&#8217;s Day brunch.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Reno Rodeo has always been about delivering an experience that goes beyond what happens in the arena,\u201d Reno Rodeo Association general manager George Combs said. \u201cFrom world-class rodeo athletes to new entertainment, family activities and community events, there is something for fans of all ages to enjoy throughout the 10 days.\u201d<\/p>\n<h2><strong>New fan experiences at Reno Rodeo<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Award-winning rodeo entertainer Justin Rumford<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Known throughout the rodeo world as \u201cRumps,\u201d Rumford is one of the sport\u2019s most recognizable entertainers and has earned multiple PRCA Clown of the Year honors. He will perform at the Reno Rodeo from June 18-22. Matt Merritt, another fan-favorite rodeo entertainer, will take over from June 23\u201327.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Summer <!-- -->&amp;<!-- --> Company <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Summer <!-- -->&amp;<!-- --> Company makes its debut as this year\u2019s new specialty act, bringing fast-paced tricks and Roman riding to the arena. Led by mom, Summer, and her daughters, Emmie and Jinsen, the family trio blends horsemanship, athleticism and showmanship in a family-friendly performance designed to keep fans engaged between rodeo events. Summer brings more than 13 years of specialty act experience, while Emmie and Jinsen have been performing since they were 4 years old and are among the youngest trick and Roman riders in the PRCA.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Double Dip Horse Show<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Double Dip Horse Show makes its debut June 24\u201327 in the indoor arena. Free for fans, the annual, multi-day horse show is co-hosted with AJA Equine and begins at noon each day. The show features Sierra Nevada Horse Show Association-approved classes, special stake-money classes and an ice cream social, giving local riders a points-earning opportunity ahead of the season finale. Combined results from AJA Equine and Pair of Aces Stables often include hunter team challenges and Division Champion and Reserve Champion titles.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Doc Bar additions, Father&#8217;s Day brunch<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Doc Bar Speakeasy will expand its lineup with new themes in the indoor arena, giving fans more ways to experience the Reno Rodeo beyond the nightly arena action. The VIP space offers a speakeasy-style setting with appetizers, exclusive drinks, comfortable seating and views of the nightly viewing party. The lineup includes Trivia Tuesday on June 23, featuring questions tied to Americana, Nevada history, PRCA rodeo and Reno Rodeo traditions. Wolf Pack Wednesday is June 24, inviting Nevada fans to don their silver and blue. The Doc Bar will also host a Father\u2019s Day Brunch on June 21. Tickets for Doc Bar experiences are available by emailing docbar@renorodeo.com.
