Collin Gosselin<\/a> is ready to tell his story.<\/p>\nThe 22-year-old son of former reality TV stars Jon<\/a> and Kate Gosselin<\/a> announced on Instagram that he is releasing a memoir titled In the Shadow of Eight: Surviving the Reality of My Childhood<\/em>, which is scheduled to be published on Oct. 13, 2026.<\/p>\nIn a post shared on Wednesday, June 17, Collin opened up about the years he spent keeping parts of his experience private and explained why he has decided to speak publicly now.<\/p>\n
\u201cFor a long time, I wasn\u2019t sure I\u2019d ever tell this story,\u201d he wrote alongside a photo of the book cover, which appeared to feature a childhood image of Collin with his mother during the height of Jon & Kate Plus 8<\/em>.<\/p>\n\u201cGrowing up, millions of people watched my life on television. People felt like they knew me. They knew my family. They watched me grow up.
