Katherine LaNasa<\/a> has admitted that she believes in ghosts, claiming she was haunted by the spirit of her late ex-husband, Dennis Hopper<\/a>, for a \u201creally long time.\u201d<\/p>\n The Pitt<\/em><\/a> star opened up about the situation in a recent interview with W Magazine<\/a>, saying, \u201cI do believe in ghosts. The ghost of Dennis Hopper would not leave me alone for a really long time. He visited me first in ways that were scary.\u201d<\/p>\n LaNasa, who was married to Hopper from 1989 to 1992, said that one time he appeared to her as he looked at the Academy Awards, in a \u201cwheelchair, and he fell down, and it was super upsetting.\u201d<\/p>\n The Emmy-winning actress said even though she and Hopper had been divorced a really long time, she was \u201cthe last wife that he\u2019d been\u201d with that he wasn\u2019t currently divorcing. \u201cSo, I think that level of intimacy when you\u2019re dying is maybe only something you can do with a partner.\u201d<\/p>\n LaNasa was Hopper\u2019s fourth wife, following his divorces from Brooke Hayward, Michelle Phillips, and Daria Halprin. After separating from LaNasa, the Blue Velvet<\/em><\/a> actor went on to marry actress Victoria Duffy in 1996. Hopper filed for divorce from Duffy about five months before his death in May, 2010. He was 74 years old at the time of his passing.<\/p>\n \u201cHe used to come over me in a sweat, and I told him he had to leave me alone, and then he did,\u201d LaNasa added of her ghostly encounters. \u201cAnd then I felt really weird about it. And then the day that I told someone how weird I felt about it, I walked home an odd way and ran into a gallery that had all of his photographs up.\u201d<\/p>\n <\/a> ‘The Pitt’ Season 3: Cast, Premiere Date, Trailer, Filming, More Details<\/p>\n<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n Related<\/p>\n She said there was a photograph of him at the very back of the gallery, \u201cwith a fedora on, winking at the camera.\u201d LaNasa shared that, \u201cIt felt like he was letting me go.\u201d<\/p>\n However, she said he came to her one last time in a dream, where the pair of them were at a cafeteria in Greece. \u201cHe told me that he was okay and that he wasn\u2019t in pain anymore, and he was good,\u201d she shared. \u201cAnd I never heard from him again.\u201d<\/p>\n Following her divorce from Hopper, LaNasa married actor French Stewart in 1998. The former couple separated in December 2009. She married actor Grant Show, whom she met on the set of Big Love<\/em><\/a>, in August 2012, and the couple went on to welcome a daughter in March 2014.
