In addition, Sleep have announced a fall North American tour (see dates below), as well as the first issue of the <i>Sleep Comic Book<\/i>, written by bassist and songwriter <strong>Al Cisneros<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>New single &#8220;Have Spacesuit Will Travel&#8221; was issued in conjunction with <strong>Third Man Records<\/strong> and marks Sleep&#8217;s first mission sans Pike. According to the Sleep camp, &#8220;the music and art are alive and after the decades of obstacles that Sleep has overcome, it is time to move forward and make songs and albums. Al wishes Matt the best on his earth bound maneuvers.&#8221; The new track can be streamed below.<\/p>\n<p>Alongside Cisneros, the latest incarnation of Sleep features <strong>Dale Crover<\/strong> (of Melvins fame) on drums and <strong>Bubba Dupree<\/strong> (Void) on guitar.<\/p>\n<p>Cisneros had the following to say regarding the new line-up:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>&#8220;The vibe of the first jam was obvious. It was blue sunglasses-era Iommi in the quality, and equally awesome is Bubba is also one of the coolest people I&#8217;ve been able to make music with.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<figure class=\"media\"><oembed url=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=KhwiNPsaPfA\"\/><\/figure>\n<p>Meanwhile, Cisneros presents the first issue of the <i>Sleep Comic Book<\/i>, his authorial debut for <strong>Third Man Books<\/strong>. Illustrated by <strong>Dave Kloc<\/strong> and <strong>Arik Roper<\/strong>, Issue #1 begins the saga of The Marijuanaut.
