Hannah Brown<\/b><\/a>\u2018s family love triangle reads like a romance novel \u2014 and now, it actually is one.<\/p>\n

The former Bachelorette star\u2019s brother, Patrick Brown<\/b>, married Haley Stevens<\/b> in 2022, and she was the woman who claimed to be dating Hannah\u2019s ex-fianc\u00e9, Jed Wyatt<\/b>, before he appeared on Hannah\u2019s season of the ABC dating show.<\/p>\n

Hannah starred as the lead on season 15 of The Bachelorette<\/i> in 2019, getting engaged to singer Jed during the season finale. The engagement ended weeks later after Haley said she had been dating Wyatt before he left to film the show.<\/p>\n

Nearly two years later in February 2021, Haley was first romantically linked to Patrick. He proposed in December of that year, and the couple tied the knot in September 2022, with Hannah attending the wedding. Patrick and Haley\u2019s daughter, Sophie, was born in May 2025. The drama ultimately inspired Hannah\u2019s 2026 novel, Reasons to be Loved by You.<\/i><\/p>\n

Hannah Brown Is Always Supporting Her Brother<\/b><\/h2>\n

In April 2022, ahead of Patrick and Haley\u2019s wedding, Hannah exclusively told Us Weekly<\/i><\/span><\/a>, \u201cI just want my brother to be happy and yeah, they are getting married, and I will be there. I just want to support my brother continuing to grow and if they make each other happy, I\u2019m happy for them.\u201d<\/p>\n

She also acknowledged the emotional complexity, telling Us, \u201cYou can love your family and still know that there are things that can be triggering. Because we love our family, we\u2019re not gonna say anything.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hannah Brown Credits Niece Sophie With Healing the Family<\/b><\/h2>\n

Hannah found that time \u2014 and the arrival of Patrick and Haley\u2019s daughter Sophie \u2014 changed their dynamics.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would say at first it was really difficult. It really strained everyone\u2019s relationship. I was not having it,\u201d she said on E! News<\/i>\u2018 \u201cHot Goss\u201d<\/span><\/a> in May 2026. \u201cYou know, they have a beautiful relationship. For me to say that, I was the one they had to convince, and I am so thankful for how everything turned out because I have a wonderful family [and] we all get along so great.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hannah added, \u201cWhen I found out that I was going to have a niece, it changed everything. I would say, like, even them getting married, it was like, \u2018Oh, well, we\u2019re doing this.\u2019 \u2026 It\u2019s been a lot of growth.\u201d<\/p>\n

She even joked about taking credit at the wedding: \u201cAt their wedding, I did a speech and I just said, \u2018You\u2019re welcome.\u2019 Because they would have, in a weird way, never known each other [without me]. Hannah Brown\u2019s New Romance Novel Inspired by the Drama<\/b><\/h2>\n

Hannah\u2019s third romance novel, Reasons to Be Loved by You<\/i>, released in June 2026, fictionalizes the family saga. The story follows a former pageant queen, who discovers her reality TV ex was dating another woman \u2014 and that her younger brother is now engaged to that same woman.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the book the \u201cShe\u2019s All Bach\u201d podcast<\/a><\/span> on June 16, 2026, Hannah revealed that Patrick and Haley actually approved of the literary story.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think when they first heard, they were like, \u2018Oh gosh, here we go.\u2019 They definitely had some backlash of people caring about me and being like, \u2018This is the most bizarre thing I\u2019ve ever heard,’\u201d Hannah said. \u201cI think at first they were like, \u2018Oh no,\u2019 but my brother did give me his blessing of like, \u2018This is a crazy story, and I totally understand. If somebody\u2019s going to write about it, it should be you.’\u201d<\/p>\n
